The hospital is the Shengze branch of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital, and an affiliate hospital of Nanjing Medical University. It is accredited as a top-tier comprehensive medical facility. Construction of its third phase expansion began in 2015. Local residents consider it “a provincial-level hospital at our doorstep”.
